Interim Principal

For many years, I have been privileged to serve the South Brunswick educational community, first as a middle school educator at Crossroads and then as principal of both Constable and Brooks Crossing elementary schools. Prior to my employment with the South Brunswick School District, I was a student in the district and ultimately a graduate of South Brunswick High School. I earned by Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers College, my Master of Arts from Columbia University, and my Doctoral degree from University of Pennsylvania. In my role as interim principal, I will continue the fine work that Principal Berry, Assistant Principal Dubois, and the school’s faculty and staff have accomplished here at Indian Fields Elementary School and work to ensure that our students are benefitting from the top-notch educational program that South Brunswick so proudly offers. Once again, I am delighted to return to Indian Fields as interim principal and provide transitional leadership as the district searches for its next school leader.

I'm proud to serve as the Assistant Principal at Indian Fields Elementary School. My background includes a degree in psychology from George Washington University and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Howard University. I completed my work in educational administration and supervision at the Foundation for Education Administration's NJ Excel Program for Educational Leadership. Throughout my career I have served as a classroom teacher (1st, 3rd and 4th grades), an Instructional Support Teacher (K-5), Supervisor (K-8) , and Assistant Principal. My tenure in South Brunswick includes working in 5 out of the 7 elementary schools (including Indian Fields) and at Crossroads North Middle School. I am a proud South Brunswick resident with my husband and two daughters. It is both a privilege and a pleasure to support teaching, learning, access and opportunity in our school community.
